Overview
The SWP is a self-priming centrifugal pump designed for handling wastewater and liquids containing solids. Thanks to its large volute, the pump automatically reprimes in an open system—without the need for check valves in the suction or discharge line. The removable front cover provides quick access to the impeller and mechanical seal. Available in cast iron or duplex stainless steel.

The SWP series is engineered for solids-handling applications in wastewater, sludge, and industrial (process or wash) water. Its HI design (OH1A) enables a compact overhung configuration, allowing installation above the liquid level when required. The self-priming flow path and large volute minimize downtime caused by air entrainment and maintain stable flow under varying solids loads. Thanks to the removable cover plate, maintenance can be performed using standard tools—without disconnecting the piping. Material options such as cast iron (for cost efficiency) or duplex (for increased wear and corrosion resistance) allow you to tailor the pump to your process needs.
